今年のメッセージには「Craft your journey at Red Hat Summit」というテーマの元に、自動化、クラウドネイティブ、エッジというテーマを分けて発信が行われることが告知されています。
個人的に注目をしているセッションより今回は3つを紹介したいと思います。こちらはセッションに参加予定でいるため、詳細についてもお届けできたらと考えております。
Keynote: Innovation doesn’t rely on your IT budget

皆様が最も注目されるのがキーノートになるかと思います。Red Hat社のPresident and CEOの,Matt Hicks氏をはじめとして、総勢14名の方が登壇されます。

次に紹介するのが、同時開催されているAnsible Fest 2023のキーノートとなるこちらのセッションです。

Ansible Fest 2023のキーノートとしてRed Hat社のAnsible AutomationのProduct Marketing DirectorであるKaete Piccirilli氏を始めとするレッドハット社のリーダーシップが登壇される他、先日の戦略説明発表やThink 2023でも触れられていましたが、IBM社のWatsonxがAnsible Automationに導入される計画があります。今回はIBM社のChief Scientistが登壇されることにも注目をしています。
自動化は戦略上必要不可欠な状況になるなかでAnsibleがどのように利用されているのか、そしてその技術は進歩しているのかを知れる機会になればと考えております。

最後に紹介するのがこちらのセッションです。これは長年レッドハット社のプロダクトを担当してきた私としては確実に抑えなければならないと考えるところです。
Red Hat Enterprise Linux roadmap

本セッションでは、最新の Red Hat Enterprise Linux リリースの概要、今後 18 か月間にリリースされる内容について発表されます。全てのレッドハット製品のベースになるLinux OSが今後どのような機能が追加されるのか？どのようなリリースの計画なのかが知れることで今後の準備が出来るためにこのセッションは個人的に注目をしています。
Since its introduction in 2002, Red Hat Enterprise Linux has set the standard for stability, reliability, and innovation in Linux. Today, millions of critical workloads running on RHEL have been deployed across physical, virtual, private, and public cloud, and edge deployments.
One of the benefits of a Red Hat Enterprise Linux subscription is that you have access to the next release, whether it is a major or minor release. This session will provide an overview of the most current Red Hat Enterprise Linux release and discuss what’s coming in releases over the next 18 months. This will include detailing new capabilities and benefits so that you can prepare to take advantage of them as they become available.
